Project Sustainability
Madam Benta Community Centre is not just an organization; it is a transformational movement for safe families. For its transformational agenda to be sustainable, the organization look forward to work with partners and extend their services beyond the partners/donors exit by doing the following:
Train the target groups and equipping them with entrepreneurial skills. Empowering them by giving seed capital and collaborating with them on a shared profit ratio to help create a revolving fund for the organization that will be used to empower more beneficiaries and create more safe families.
Continue to provide safe drinking water for communities at a minimal price to sustain the clean drinking water programs in all fishing beaches of Rusinga.
Knowledge is power. Through the continuous capacity building and follow up to the target groups, we will keep on tracking all the beneficiaries and ensuring that they become a role model and mentors to other community members who may be experiencing the same life challenges.
Initiate projects and create self-employment to families through the sale of their surplus from their kitchen gardens. Bringing the families surpluses together and linking them to markets
Through the talent development program, identify the talents and collaborate with them on income generating activities that will help them be integrated within the communities and contribute to the organization projects. Turning talents into income.
Create income generating projects like tailoring, canvas shoes production, fresh juices production, Dagaa (Omena) value addition project, Music and video recording projects and virtual Assisstant /Online work project, ICT projects (Coding, web design, data analyst, graphic designs), Bricks making, Dry fruits and vegetables project, Laundry services, Events Management, Car Wash points and outside catering services.
